Well, Uptown Charlotte’s Hilton Towers has officially been rocked. Partygoers at May 15th Ace and TJ’s Second Chance Prom had the dance floor literally bouncing all night. The party didn’t stop at midnight when Charity Case took the stage for the After Party.

Opening with “Bad Medicine” followed by a scathing version of “Be My Girl”, the whirlwind continued and at times it was difficult to hear backup vocals from the stage over those from the audience making it the out of control, fun-fest that is Charity Case.

In true CC style, many of the very lovely ladies jumped on to the stage to do a little shaking for the cause. If you looked closely, you could have seen Ace’s wife Shonnette, Clifton’s wife BG, and Colleen Marshall wife of drummer Shane, all make quick appearances on stage to “show their support”.

Charity Case did not disappoint the charged up crowd with a particularly electrifying performance of their own. When the band broke out with a bit of Justin Timberlake in the middle of AC/DC’s “Back in Black”, the response was overwhelming and may persuade the band into making it a permanent part of the set.

Overall a fantastic night from start to finish, the encore, Poison’s "Nothing But A Good Time" seemed to end the evening on an appropriate note. I personally can’t wait to see what’s next.

Until then, I'll be keeping watch Inside Charity Case.
