Saturday night's show (September 18 th) at Killian's Nightlife in Mooresville was another first time venue brought alive with Charity Case electricity. Teamed up once again with fan favorite Four Friends and a Roadie, the pair staged a show rivaled by none.
Starting off the night with a dose of Four Friends…, who's band members include CC's own Roadie Rob (stage manager) and Charlie Powell (merchandise), belting out tunes for the increasingly enthusiastic crowd. What this crowd didn't know was that Roadie Rob was nursing a terrible sore throat requiring more than his usual effort, what a trooper.
Watch out! No tune is safe from Charity Case's signature cut 'n paste song collage. A highlight was surely the addition of the montage " Fire" peppered with excerpts from "Baby Got Back", "My Prerogative" and "It's Getting Hot in Here" and believe me, it was.
Long-time, staple in the CC set "Basket Case" shows off the vocal talents of guitarist Clifton Vann. It's always exciting when Clifton steps to center stage, this evening was no exception and with his familiar charisma delivered an outstanding performance.
This Killian's audience did its' part as well, contributing to the party throughout the show with spontaneous stage dancing from the ladies and passionate fist shaking from the men, so it looks as if Charity Case has made some new friends that they hope to see again soon.
