When his radio career found him in Charlotte a few years later he got to play drums on his birthday with the band Super Glide for two songs. That’s about as close as he ever came toperforming until Charity Case was formed some two years later.

“For something that started as a bit on the radio, Charity Case has far exceeded my dreams and expectations”, says Ace. “Who would have thought we’d have played to crowds seven thousand or sold out clubs all over the area. I surely wouldn’t have thought that…but I love it”.

Ace is the proud husband of Shonnette to whom he’s been married for 8 years and the proud father of two children, daughter Payton (born in ’98) and son Cade (born in ’02) and lives in Mooresville, NC.
