ERIC Eric was born at Langley Air Force Base, Hampton Virginia. His family moved to Newark, New Jersey when he was just s toddler. Both parents were musicians; mom a pianist and singer and dad a guitarist and singer.

At the age of six years, Eric and his family moved to Rockingham, North Carolina where his mother began singing in a local band. The band would rehearse in his living room and leave their gear setup. That’s when he and his brother, Johnny, began their quest to become the next Jackson Five. Eric’s very first instrument that following Christmas was an Aria Pro electric guitar. Johnny got an off-brand three piece drum set. After about two weeks, they found themselves swapping instruments.
