MAYHEM was on the menu.  Security kept having to ask the crowd to step away from the curtain as the Charity Case fans didn’t want to wait for the show to start before getting the prop to drop.  They wanted to pull it down themselves.  And the band fed off of the anticipation by delivering a wide open new set full of songs they had never performed before in Concord.  Rebel Yell made a surprise appearance and if you were there you might recall an “interesting” guitar player “sitting” in on that song! Only at a Charity Case show….. The new Sweet Home Alabama medley was the real hit of the night and a steaming version of One Way To Rock really seemed to get the guys going.

Tuesday night, Charity Case returned to the recording studio to lay down tracks for an upcoming video release.  Shot at last years Gravediggers Ball, the band hopes to release this footage later on in October.  It’s been years since the bands debut DVD “I Danced Onstage with Charity Case”.  Long out of print and sold out, this upcoming release promises to be better in quality and will surely thrill Charity Casers young and old.

Today is a big birthday day for 2 Charity Casers.  Guitarist Eddie Z and Crew Manager Jerome Goodman celebrate their birthdays on September 3rd.  Be sure to wish them Happy Birthday when you see them at the show.

Saturday night, September 6th, Charity Case returns to Midtown Sundries at the Lake.  Lake shows are always a fun, crazy night that leave all that are in attendance talking about the show for days. As always, there will be some surprises in store, and I’ll be there to tell you all about it from Inside Charity Case.
